The Old Church Gallery Cafe is a space for visitors to relax and enjoy a cuppa and something to eat in the pleasant surroundings of the covered deck alongside the gallery, with views of the hills, accompanied by the usual chorus of the many birds which also make our space their home.
Our fresh farmers platters feature a range of cold meats such as ham, corned beef, smoked chicken or roast beef and cold sausage, wurst or salami accompanied by local cheeses, salads, boiled eggs, breads or toast and served with a selection of chutneys or relishes . Vegetarian options can also be created. Our platters start from $15 per person.
We also serve a selection of cakes, scones, biscuits or other tempting nibbles depending on what comes out of the oven that day.
Our juices are served chilled and come with a fork to help get the last of the delicious fresh fruit included.
We are proud to serve coffee, roasted by Fonzie Abbott in Brisbane especially for our plungers and we encourage our guests to allow the coffee in the plungers time to fully develop before it is consumed. After all, what's the rush?
We are also pleased to provide an extensive range of premium loose leaf teas from the Elmstock Tea Company, served in individual infuser tea pots. Elmstock has a rich tradition of tea trade involvement spanning five generations with over 25 years of quality and excellence in Australia supplying the finest teas and infusions.
